While many may use their conservatory as a place to relax and enjoy looking out onto the garden, a conservatory can make a brilliant dining room and utilizing the space to accommodate a table and chairs will free up the existing room where you have your meals.

There are many reasons to have a new tiled roof. Having a solid roof will make the room a lot quieter. The noise created from rain, hail and wind will be significantly reduced as well as the glare produced from the sun shining in. In turn this will stop any furniture in the room from fading so fast, bleached by the sun’s rays. These are just two of the advantages but there are many more.

Four Seasons Roof Systems recently installed a brand-new tiled roof onto a large conservatory at a house in Bispham. Using the existing roof framework, we fitted structural waterproof ply and insulated boards as well as a SupaLite breathable membrane with the SupaLite tiles on top.

As you can see from the photographs, this transformed the external appearance, giving the conservatory a more modern, updated look. However, it’s not just the outside that got a “make over.” The ceiling was plaster boarded inside and new electrics fitted for lighting making it feel a lot more homely inside and more like a seamless extension of the house. Again, you can see what this looked like from some of the photographs. Our clients were really pleased with the end results.
