Home improvements in Cleveleys
Having a conservatory was an easy way to add an extra room to your home. As a light filled space, they were often built with uPVC panelling so unfortunately, they didn’t really add value to your home. The additional ongoing problem with a conservatory is that inside you can have extremes of temperature, either being too hot in the summer or freezing cold in the winter. If you have a conservatory which is more than 20 years old, there is a good chance that the roof is not very energy efficient.
Knowing this, some companies have endeavoured to design a material that can combat this issue. More recently the solid tile roof has been introduced. Lightweight but robust having these tiles replace your uPVC roof will transform your conservatory into a year-round living space! They are specifically tailored to meet building control standards too, giving you peace of mind.
New conservatory roof
Four Seasons Roof Systems recently installed a new conservatory roof as part of our home improvements in Cleveleys. We removed the existing panels and replaced them with the Metro Tile Shingle. The inside was insulated and plastered, and we replaced the gutters and carried out some new lead work.
You can see from the photographs what the end result looked like of both the inside and the outside of the conservatory following the home improvements in Cleveleys that we carried out.
Replacing an outdated plastic or glass roof with an insulated new conservatory roof, one will transform the appearance of your conservatory and will also make it a more practical, useable space.
