A Conservatory is Transformed with a New Supalite Conservatory Roof in Fleetwood!
Four Seasons Roof Systems recently revitalised an old and tired looking conservatory by installing a new conservatory roof in Fleetwood.
You can see from the photographs what the original Perspex roof looked like. Not only did it appear outdated, but these types of roof do not provide good insulation. In the summer they contain the heat, making a conservatory too hot to sit in, however in the winter there is the opposite problem as they are too cold to spend time in. Our clients wanted to turn their conservatory into a room they could use all year round.
We started the process at the house on Westgate Avenue in Fleetwood by removing the existing roof including the framework. We then installed a new lightweight aluminium frame which includes lightweight aluminium ridge beam and tantalised timber batons as well as lightweight aluminium rafters also with tantalised timber batons.
Once the framework was in place, we then fitted plasterboard, insulation and breathable membrane. Finally, the tiles were installed. This type of roof limits the noise from wind and rain making your conservatory a quiet space to relax and unwind. The roofs we install are fully insulated and energy efficient.
