The Edwardian style with its roof that gently slopes from the front, back to the centre and is a more symmetrical shape, replaced the original gable end conservatory. With the sleeker lines of the pitched roof, it created softer lines rather than the harsh lines of the gable end conservatory which had a front that was upright like the end of a house.

We started the process of fitting the replacement conservatory roof in Thornton Cleveleys by removing the existing polycarbonate sheets used for the roof and original framework and then rebuilt the roof structure using wooden batons and panels etc. We fitted a layer of insulation and then attached the tiles on top.
