New Fiberglass GRP roof in Cleveleys
For a little bit of peace and tranquillity a log cab in the garden can give you the opportunity to get back to nature, switch off from the stresses and strains of everyday life and relax! It’s because of this that they are becoming very popular and more and more people are investing in them. One of our clients in the Cleveleys area acquired one. They had a log cabin in their garden and needed a new roof installing.
Four Season Roof Systems built the roof to fit with the existing structure and used fibreglass GRP, (Glass Reinforced Plastic). So, what is Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP)? It comprises of polyester resin combined with fine fibres of glass which reinforce it. It’s then coated with a polyester top coat.
Fibreglass GRP makes for an excellent waterproof coating for inclined, and as was the case with this project, flat roofs. Fibreglass roofing is a brilliant way to safeguard your home from the weather because it is strong and durable, being resistant to fire, extreme temperatures and water penetration. It’s also cost effective. In addition, it looks far more attractive than traditional felt roofing. A properly laid and professionally fitted fibreglass roof also referred to as GRP Roofing will last for at least 25 years with no obvious deterioration. For your peace of mind all of our roofs come with a 25-year manufacturer guarantee. At Four Seasons Roof Systems we have many years of experience in installing GRP roofs.
You can see the beautiful results from the photographs included. The roof perfectly complemented the wooden structure and its existing surroundings.
