Replacement Conservatory Roof in Thornton-Cleveleys
We recently completed the replacement of a Edwardian style conservatory roof in Thornton-Cleveleys.
The roof was fully insulated, and sound proofed to minimize noise especially on rainy days! It was also felted with breathable membrane. A breathable roofing felt, or breather membrane, is considered a vital component of all re-roofing projects. For example, it stops wind driven rain and snow from being blown into your roof through gaps in the tiles. It enables air to circulate which discourages mold, and lowers heat loss which in the long term will save you money!
The roof was tiled in ebony shingle metrotile. It has the appearance of a small riven slate based on the classic North American timber shingle design. As you can see from the photographs it provided a simple, elegant solution. We also fitted new fascia and guttering. New fascia and gutters can be supplied in many different colours and styles which we can advise you on.
The whole project was completed with minimum disruption for our clients.
